The Tennessee Valley Authority Police was a law enforcement agency in the United States. It was a federally commissioned, internationally accredited agency that provided protection for Tennessee Valley Authority properties and employees as well as the 100 million annual users of TVA recreation facilities.〔(TVA Police webpage )〕 ==Organization== TVAP was organized into four districts that encompassed a seven-state area. It had motor, marine, and bicycle patrols, as well as investigative personnel and victim witness representatives.〔 TVAP Officers were trained at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, Georgia. On September 12, 1995 125 officers from the TVA Public Safety Service were sworn in as Charter Members of the newly created TVA Police. In May and June 2012, TVA Police disbanded and ended all uniform patrols on TVA properties. Contract security personnel were assigned to several TVA power stations and other key locations, and several Special Agents are still employed to investigate felony level crimes. All current patrol duties have been handed over to various local, state, and other federal agencies. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Tennessee Valley Authority Police」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
